Ross and Russ

Bus services will be disrupted today due to today’s bus driver strike, with services operated by Dysons and CDC impacted.

CDC will only run school services in Oakleigh, Tullamarine, Sunshine and Mildura, and Dysons CEO Andrew Jakab has told 3AW Breakfast the planned industrial action is “unnecessary”.

“We’ve been negotiating with the union since January,” Mr Jakab told Ross and Russ.

“We’ve been told that despite the fact that inflation is running at 2.4 per cent, that that’s not good enough.

“One thing that we do agree with the union on is that strike action is an unnecessary convenience to passengers.”
