East-West Link cost blows out by another $100 million

MML

The Treasurer admits the bill for East-West Link will blowout by another $100 million.

The Age has reported Tim Pallas has conceded the complex financial deal, which contained safeguards against the project falling over.

One of those contained a $100 million liability that will have to be paid out.

The Auditor General previously found the true bill for the road that was never built totalled $1.16 billion.

The Andrews government controversially scrapped the project after winning the Victorian election.
