Eddie Betts signs three-year contract extension, says Curtly Hampton has impressed over the summer

He’s arguably the AFL’s most popular player, but Eddie Betts says it’s one of his new teammates Crows fans should be excited about this season.

Betts, who has signed a three-year contract extension with the Crows, told 3AW Curtly Hampton had impressed since making the switch from GWS over the summer.

‘He’s really surprised me,’ Betts said of Hampton on Sportsday.

‘He’s the fittest he’s been and been training with the mids all pre-season and been doing really well.’
