Eight youths arrested over series of violent home invasions in Melbourne’s west

Eight youths have been arrested over a series of aggravated home invasions in the past week.

Detectives raided a property at Wyndham Vale at about 6pm last night after seeing two stolen vehicles driving erratically.

Police followed the cars to a house on Stream Road where they found and arrested seven people.

The vehicles are allegedly linked to an armed robbery, an aggravated burglary and two aggravated home invasions in Melbourne’s west in the past week.

A 14-year-old, three 16-year-olds, and a 19-year-old have been charged.

Two other 16-year-olds have been released pending further enquiries.

Another 14-year-old was arrested on December 5 in relation to one of the alleged aggravated burglaries.
