Elderly lady accidentally collects brand new police car

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: An elderly lady has accidentally collected a brand new, legally-parked highway patrol car and four police bikes.

Police confirmed with 3AW Breakfast that the woman was leaving a car park at Rosedale when she struck a passing vehicle with a trailer.

She’s then hit two marked police bikes and a marked police car that were parked and unoccupied.

There were another two bikes in front of the car that were also hit.

Police were having lunch nearby.

There was extensive damage to all vehicles but no injuries reported at this stage.

The damaged Holden Commodore was one of the last manufactured and only days old.
