Elderly woman miraculously escapes injury as car plows into Mill Park bedroom

An elderly woman has miraculously escaped injury after a car smashed into her bedroom in Melbourne’s outer north.

The car slammed into the Mill Park home around 5.15am on Thursday morning, pushing the bed she was sleeping in up against the wall.

Glass was also sprayed across the room.

The 86-year-old woman was sleeping her bed at the time, but paramedics say she’s miraculously escaped serious injury.

The man driving the car was taken to the Northern Hospital as a precaution.

Police have also investigated the scene.
