Election day in Victoria is 24 days away on Saturday November 26, with some important voting information being explained by an electoral commissioner ahead of the big day.

Topics such as when early voting opens, how to apply for postal voting, checking enrolment and even telephone voting for flood victims were discussed on 3AW Mornings.

“I want people now to check their enrolment status, start thinking about the best option for them to cast their vote, and then thinking about who they’re going to vote for,” Warwick Gately, electoral commissioner at the Victorian Electoral Commission, told Neil Mitchell.
