Electric scooter advocate slams ‘regressive laws’ in Victoria

Electric scooter advocates say the Victorian government has been too slow to act in legalising privately owned scooters.

Zipidi founder Stephen Coulter told Tony Jones, who is filling in for Neil Mitchell, the reason they hadn’t been made legal had nothing to do with safety.

“They’re not legalised because we’ve got regressive laws in this area in Victoria that haven’t changed yet,” he said.
