Electrical Trades Union to stop work at Loy Yang for one hour on Christmas Day
The Electrical Trades Union will hold a Christmas Day strike at the Loy Yang Power station as part of an ongoing industrial dispute with power company AGL.
The ETU has given notice of a one-hour stop-work from 7am on Sunday.
The Andrews government claims the action will not impact on power supplies.
Political reporter Lauren Hilbert told Nick McCallum the station will be out of action for more than just the hour due to the time it takes to power it down and back up again.
