Elwood collision: Pedestrian dead and motorcyclist seriously injured

Police are investigating a collision in Elwood that’s left a pedestrian dead and a motorcyclist in hospital.

The motorcyclist struck the pedestrian on Brighton Road, near Dickens Street, at about 11.20pm last night.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where he sadly died.

The motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries.

The exact circumstances have not yet been determined and the investigation is ongoing.

There have been 76 lives lost on Victoria’s roads this year.
