Emergency department crisis showing no sign of slowing down

Victorians are being warned the crisis in hospital emergency departments is showing no sign of slowing down, leading to “disastrous” outcomes for some patients.

Healthcare workers are facing the busiest and most crowded emergency rooms in their careers.

“There are multiple things that need to be done,” emergency physician, Dr Stephen Parnis, told Neil Mitchell.
