Emotional call reveals devastating ongoing toll of October floods

A victim of the October floods has broken down in tears while describing the ongoing impact the devastating flooding has had on his family.

Mick and Kerry Wickham’s property at Bunbartha, north of Shepparton, was inundated by floodwater 1.2 metres high.

The Wickhams are still living in a caravan on their daughter’s property.

“We’ve lost everything — our house and the unit our daughter and granddaughter were living in — it’s all framework now. That’s it,” Mick told Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
