Emotional farmer ‘flabbergasted’ by the lack of empathy from the state government

Drought conditions in South Australia and Victoria continue to worsen, which has left rural communities in the dust.

On 3AW Breakfast, Warrnambool farmer and President of the Dairy Division Of Victorian Farmers Federation, Bernie Free, said he was “flabbergasted” by Agriculture Minister Ros Spence’s lack of “empathy” during her visit to the struggling farmers.

“She sat there and looked as if she didn’t want to be here,” Free said on 3AW Breakfast.
