Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg tells Neil Mitchell why NEG must be passed

A meeting to decide on a national energy policy begins Friday morning.

State and territory Energy Ministers will work through the details of the National Energy Guarantee.

They must endorse the plan before it can be ratified by the Coalition party room in Canberra next week.

Federal energy minister Josh Frydenberg told Neil Mitchell it’s crucial that the deal is supported.

“Across the country you’ll have a great risk of blackouts.”
