The Federal Minister for Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction says Australia must compliment growth in renewable energy sources with continued use of existing fuels.

Angus Taylor told Tom Elliott gas would remain critical in Australia.

“You’ve got to have both,” he said.

“Otherwise, the lights don’t stay on and the prices don’t stay down.”
