Energy providers warn energy bills will rise no matter what

Energy providers are beginning to say energy bills will continue to rise regardless of intervention.

Chief executive officer of Pacific Blue, Domenic Capomollo, says renewable energy is expensive and the narrative needs to “change”.

“One megawatt of coal is more expensive than a megawatt of wind, but I have to build six megawatts of wind to give me the equivalent security,” he told 3AW Drive.
