Essendon’s fate with WADA to be known by Christmas, says Sam McClure

Essendon’s fate with WADA will be known by Christmas, says Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure.
The 3AW newsbreaker said the Court of Arbitration for Sport was on the verge of handing down its decision in the case.
‘I am told there will definitely be a result and an announcement prior to Christmas,’ Scoop said on Sports Today.
‘Before Christmas day, Essendon and the players will know the result of the WADA appeal.’
But in news that may be of concern for the club and 34 players involved, Scoop said WADA representative Richard Young – the man that sunk cyclist Lance Armstrong – had been ‘extremely impressive’ during the hearing.
‘I am told he has blown people out of the water with how he has reconstructed the line of evidence,’ he said.
