‘Etihad Stadium will be bulldozed by 2035’: Robert Doyle and Rex Hunt

Lord Mayor Robert Doyle joins Neil Mitchell’s Future Forum:

Melbourne’s Lord Mayor thinks Etihad Stadium will be bulldozed within 20 years. 

Speaking as part of Neil Mitchell’s Future Forum, Robert Doyle said the stadium cuts off the Docklands from the city.

Football icon Rex Hunt called in to support the idea.

He said he would like to see the Morning Peninsula Saints playing in the AFL. 

‘Take the game to the people,’ Hunt said.
