Eucalyptus Trees

Fresh mulch from a eucalyptus tree ? does it need to settle or rot down before putting on the garden beds?

If trees have been chipped up and put directly onto the garden fresh, then nitrogen in the soil will be used up as they compost down.

It is called nitrogen draw down and will cause plants to go yellow. You should let the pile of fresh chippings sit for six weeks so losing their freshness and then it can be used as a mulch.
