The daughter of jailed bus driver Jack Aston has organised a show of support for her father over the weekend.

Aston crashed into the Montague Street bridge in 2016 and was slapped with a five-year sentence at the County Court on Monday.

Meg Aston, daughter of Jack, told Tony Jones the event would take place at the Montague Street bridge on Sunday afternoon.

“(It’s important) to get it out there that it’s an unfair sentencing,” she told Tony Jones.

“I created a Facebook event and it has got about 370 people interested in it.”
