Neil Mitchell has weighed in on the Hawthorn racism investigation, following the AFL’s announcement to terminate the investigation, making no adverse findings against those accused.

He claims “everybody wins and everybody loses” from the situation and he wouldn’t be surprised if Alastair Clarkson never returns to coaching.

“The statement is a classic hospital handball straight to the human rights commission,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

Neil Mitchell then sought legal advice from former chief magistrate, Nick Pappas KC, on what happens from here, especially if the indigenous families head to the human rights commission.
