It’s a month to go until the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

In a new era, you can expect the cars to have bigger tyres, bigger wings, and more aero-dynamics.

Andrew Westacott, Chief Executive of Australian Grand Prix Corp, told Ross and John the cars will be ‘five to six seconds quicker’ per lap.

‘These cars are the fastest in Formula 1 history,’ Mr. Westacott said.

Asked whether or not moving the race to Sydney is a possibility, Mr. Westacott says ‘not for the next seven years.’

Race heads will get a glimpse of the new cars when the blankets come off in Barcelona on February 27, where they will undergo eight days of testing.
