Explosive claims Victorian students get higher marks for ‘politically correct’ school work
A specialist English tutor says there is no doubt Victorian students are being given higher marks if they follow a “politically correct and socially progressive agenda” in their school work.
It follows a report in The Herald Sun that caught Tom Elliott’s interest.
Dr Mark Lopez said it was true.
“The long march through the institutions has been completed – it is done,” he said.
“When you go into a school institution, you’re on Left-wing territory and you have to behave in Left-wing ways if you’re going to be rewarded and succeed in this institution that’s a crucial gatekeeper to all the other things we want to do in life.”
Dr Lopez said he tried to teach his students the “right” answer, as well as the answer he says would give them the best chance of getting a high mark.
