Extinction Rebellion set to block major CBD road in mass civil disobedience

Extinction Rebellion have confirmed a plan to cause “mass civil disobedience’ in the CBD on Swanston and Flinders Streets on Saturday is still happening.

Clinical psychologist and activist, Jane Morton, says she expects the police will force the protestors to move on.

“We feel we have no alternative because of the climate and ecological emergency,” she told Tom Elliott.
