Family flee Seddon house fire

Fire has broken out in a family home at Seddon early this morning.

The family of four fled safely, with two children treated at the scene for precautionary tests.

Two pet dogs were injured, with one animal being rushed to the vet.

Blake Johnson, Channel 7 reporter, told 3AW Breakfast neighbours were first to see fire break out at the back of the house.

Johnson said the neighbour was ‘banging on all the windows trying to wake them up’.

‘The roof was about to collapse so it was a narrow escape.’
