Family in dog fight with state government to keep business running on Great Ocean Road
A family-run business, 12 Apostles Helicopters, is in a fierce battle with the state government looking to acquire 32 hectares of private land for a tourist development, a move which would cripple the helicopter business on the Great Ocean Road.
Owner of the business and helicopter pilot, Richard Kesseler, is not happy with the state government’s intentions.
“We want to keep this coastline like it is for everyone to appreciate,” Mr Kesseler told Neil Mitchell.
