Fans furious after AFL makes changes to live stream on app
Furious footy fans have hit out at the screen size of the AFL’s new live streaming app.
‘Disgraceful’, ‘a joke’ and ‘crap’ was just some of the feedback from fans on social media, who tried to live stream the first JLT Series game on Thursday night.
The Telstra app is available on both smartphones and tablets, however the screen size is the same for both devices – just seven inches.
For tablet users, that means a small screen surrounded by a lot of black.
According to the AFL, it’s due to the new $2.5 billion dollar broadcast agreement, but it’s promising new features to come.
The screen dimensions are hidden in the fine print of the apps terms and conditions.
