Fans want overpriced footy tickets taken off resale sites

The AFL Fans’ Association says it’s “confusing” why the AFL won’t act to have overpriced tickets removed from resale sites.

It comes after Ticketmaster Resale advertised finals tickets at hugely inflated prices, some up to $700.

Fans’ Association President Gerry Eeman told Nick McCallum fans want to see the AFL take action.

“There are people buying them for the sole purpose of re-selling them,” Gerry said.

“It’s confusing why the AFL don’t do anything about it.”
