‘Fantastic honour’: Bec Daniher opens up father’s Australian Of The Year recognition

Legendary footballer Neale Daniher is the 2025 Australian Of The Year for his work raising over $115 million for research into motor neuron disease.
His daughter Bec Daniher told 3AW Sunday Mornings it’s a “fantastic” honour bestowed upon the co-founder of the charity FightMND who was diagnosed with the disease in 2013.
“I think it gives us a fantastic platform to continue to tell the story over the last ten years – we’ve made such great progress,” she said.
