‘Fantasy sort of stuff’: Sam Groth voices concerns with the Premier’s housing statement
Liberal MP for Nepean and opposition tourism spokesman, Sam Groth, has voiced his concerns with the Premier’s housing statement which was announced yesterday.
From 2025, the state government will charge a 7.5 per cent levy on revenue collected by short-stay accommodation providers, a decision which Groth believes will “do nothing” to drive properties back to the long term market
The plan also aims to build 800,000 new homes over the next decade, which Groth claimed was “fantasy sort of stuff” and seems “desperate”.
