Farmer reveals how new fire services levy will impact farmers around the state

A fifth-generation farmer says a new fire services levy passed by the Victorian government will have a devastating impact on farmers.

Prue says many farmers were working with various relevant associations to stop the levy.

“The impact on farmers is going to be devastating, those in far-off Western Victoria were already in drought – they can barely afford to feed their family, let alone pay a tax,” she told Jacqui Felgate.
