Farmers fume at council over controversial conservation proposal

Farmers in the Macedon Ranges say a proposal that could see them lose their own land to conservation will have “devastating” consequences in the area.

James Walsh from the Ranges Agriculture Alliance told Tom Elliott the proposal was extremely concerning.

“It’s going to have devastating consequences if it goes ahead,” he said.
