Fatal crash shuts down Ring Road

A fatal smash in Melbourne’s north has sparked traffic chaos during the afternoon peak on Thursday.

A truck and car collided on the Western Ring Road at Sydney Road just before 3pm.

Multiple lanes were closed.

Eastbound traffic was impacted heavily by the incident.
