Fatal smash at Birregurra

A man has died following a collision between two cars at Birregurra.

Police say a white Toyota Altise went through a stop sign at an intersection, colliding with a green Ford Telstar.

The driver of the Ford died at the scene.

A female passenger travelling in the Toyota was flown to hospital.

The male driver and a male passenger also in the car were taken by ambulance to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
