Fatal smash on Vickerys Road at Bellbrae

One person has died in a fatal car crash at Bellbrae, near Torquay.

A sedan was travelling along Vickerys Road shortly after 12.30pm on Tuesday when it left the road and slammed into a tree.

The driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

They were the sole occupant of the car.
