Father going to pick up kids from party nabbed well, well over legal limit

A father on his way to pick up his children from a birthday party has been nabbed driving almost four times over the legal blood alcohol limit.

Police have revealed they intercepted the driver in Geelong on Saturday.

He was pulled over about 11am.

He provided an initial breath test reading of .186.

The local driver had his vehicle impounded and his licence immediately suspended.
