Fears for a Myrtleford woman missing since Wednesday
Police hold grave fears for a woman missing in the state’s north-east after her car was found torched.
The burnt-out vehicle was found on Halls Road in Myrtleford yesterday.
Police said they believe it belongs to 49-year-old Karen Chetcuti, who was reported missing on Wednesday morning.
They hold grave fears for her, saying her disappearance is out of character.
The police dog squad, local police, and the SES continue to search for the woman between Myrtleford and Whorouly, toward Wangaratta.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
