Tragic end to search for walker swept into Traralgon Creek

The search for a person seen walking along Whittakers Road in Traralgon before being swept away by floodwaters yesterday has come to a tragic end.

Police have recovered a body from Traralgon Creek.

The area has been cordoned off.

The person is yet to be identified, and the small white dog they were seen with remains unaccounted for.
