Fears of measles outbreak at Melbourne Airport
The Health Department has issued a warning to those who were at Melbourne Airport last Thursday over a measles outbreak.
A passenger travelling on an Emirates flight from Dubai to Melbourne, via Singapore, was highly contagious when travelling.
They landed in Melbourne at 9am on January 11 and were around the baggage area at Tullamarine until 11am.
Anybody who was there at that time and is displaying symptoms, such as a cough, runny nose, red eyes and then rash, are urged to seek medical advice.
