Fifteen-year-old arrested after terrifying Ballarat armed robbery

A 15-year-old is expected to be charged on summons following an armed robbery in Ballarat last night.

The teenager is accused of threatening the attendant of a liquor store on Hummffray Street in Bakery Hill with a knife shortly before 10pm.

Police say he demanded more alcohol but the 32-year-old attendant grabbed him and pushed him out the door.

It’s understood the offender then fled to a licenced premises on Mair Street and was arrested by officers a short time later.
