Fire at Chatswood exchange causes disruption for Telstra customers

Telstra customers are demanding compensation after another major national outage. 

Both mobile and fixed services were down for around two hours on Thursday after a fire in Sydney damaged equipment.

It follows a string of outages last year, with customers taking to social media to ask for compensation.

Meantime, the ATO website remains down after experiencing the same issues which caused an outage in December.
