Fire tears through Taylors Hill home

Fire has taken hold of a home in Melbourne’s north west.

The house and garage were fully alight when firefighters arrived at round 2:30pm on Sunday.

Fire crews prevented flames from impacting neighbouring properties on Botany Lane.

One woman, the only person home at the time of the blaze, is being treated at the scene for possible smoke inhalation.
