Fish and chip shop thief caught hiding in frozen fish display cabinet

A Frankston man has been arrested after breaking through the roof of a fish and chip shop last night.

The 39-year-old broke into the Dandenong shop just after 8pm.

Police found him hiding in a frozen fish display cabinet.

The man has been charged with burglary and criminal damage.

He appeared at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court this morning.
