Fists thrown during all-in brawl as local football Grand Final turns ugly

Chaos unfolded at a local Grand Final on Sunday after an all-in brawl broke out once fists were thrown by multiple players.

The Rumour File was told the brawl took place during an over-50s Grand Final between Glenvale and Brunswick, which was later confirmed by The Age journalist Richard Baker, who witnessed the chaos unfold.

“It just kicked off and (the incident occurred) right in front of the fans,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.

“A young group of guys joined in and found a few targets.”
