Five men arrested after man suffers gunshot wound in Moe

Five men have been arrested after a man was shot during an altercation in Moe last night, which has left him in critical condition in hospital.

Armed Crime Squad detectives believe an altercation broke out between two groups of men at a Hawker Street address at around 8:15pm last night.

A 28-year-old man was allegedly shot during the altercation and was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Five men have since been arrested, and a crime scene has been set up.

Police believe they’re all known to each other.
