Five men arrested following wild attempted home invasion in Melbourne’s south-east

Five men in a mini-bus have been arrested following an attempted home invasion in Melbourne’s south-east overnight.

The five men, ranging in age from 35 to 56 were arrested, after stop sticks were used to pull over a mini-bus in Cranbourne North.

Police have been told a group of men gathered outside a Strzelecki Court home just after 11pm last night, demanding entry and shouting threats aimed at those inside.

The group didn’t enter the home, and instead went into the backyard, taking a dirt bike and loading it into the mini-bus, where a dramatic chase with police ensued before the arrests were made.
