Five teenagers arrested after dramatic police chase across Melbourne’s south-east
A dramatic police chase across Melbourne’s south-east has ended with the arrest of five teenagers.
The pursuit followed a series of alleged overnight crimes yesterday, including home invasions and the theft of two luxury cars in Brighton East and Hampton.
One stolen vehicle was tracked at high speeds of up to 145 kilometres per hour before being dumped in Bentleigh, where the males fled on foot.
They jumped fences, with one climbing onto a roof, then they hid inside a house.
Police arrested the group, aged between 15 to 18, one has been charged, and the others released pending summons.
