The state budget will be announced today.

3AW’s state politics reporter Lauren Hilbert told Neil Mitchell she expects investment in infrastructure.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s money to fund airport rail,” Lauren said.

Lauren also said the level crossing removal project – which was already over budget – has had another $900 million pumped into it.

Brendan said the main priorities were “bread and butter” issues, including:

  • Rail
