Five tram routes disrupted after COVID-19 case at Malvern depot

Tram services are disrupted on five tram routes after positive COVID-19 case at the Yarra Trams Malvern depot.

Neil Mitchell has been told up to 100 workers may be required to undergo testing after coming into contact with the infected person.

There will be lower than usual frequency on routes 5, 6, 16, 58 and 72 due to a driver shortage as a result.

Services will continue to be disrupted throughout today and tomorrow.
