That’s the opinion of renowned vet Dr Chris Brown.

Dr Brown told Denis Walter five ways Australia could improve its pet-friendliness:

  • More dog parks
  • More pet-friendly beaches
  • Make it easier to have a cat in a rented an apartment
  • Better attitude of local councils to having a pet
  • More inclusive local cafes and restaurants
